Newly built in the Santa Fe style in 2000, Turtle House has a view to the east of the Sangre de Cristo mountains. It has a covered portal, an outdoor dining and lounging area and can either be reserved as a one or two bedroom house. Each bedroom has a private bath. Turtle is an ideal house for a single traveler, a couple or a larger group.
Amenities
Turtle House has one bedroom with one king or two twin beds, a full bath, and one living/dining/kitchen area. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a washer and dryer. A separate bedroom suite, which has a queen bed and a twin, can be adjoined to Turtle House making it a two bedroom, two bath house.
Turtle House has an evaporative cooler in summer, baseboard radiation in winter. There is a wood-burning fireplace in the living room.
By itself, Turtle sleeps 1-2. With the addition of the second bedroom, it can sleep up to 3-5.

"What a wonderful place! We have stayed at Rancho Jacona three times in the past three years and rented the Turtle House each time. The property is absolutely beautiful. My family loves visiting the burros and goats in the mornings. They love carrots and mango peels! We have always visited in March and enjoyed warm, sunny weather as well as 6" inches of snow one spring! The casitas are a home away from home, complete with full kitchens, W/D and an outdoor grill on the patio. The kiva fireplace is great for cool spring nights. Fresh, morning eggs are also available at times! The playground is nice for kids and I'm sure the pool is fun during the summer months! The staff respects their visitors’ privacy, but is readily available for assistance. Its location to Santa Fe is ideal as well as its proximity to other wonderful places in New Mexico."
