RISE AND SHINE!
Mornings begin with the sound of roosters crowing in the distance as rose and sunflower colored sunshine warms our wide open skies. Evenings are filled with the sound of breezes creating a rustle through the cottonwood leaves, as well as a symphony of crickets in the sumer and fall.
Movie & Game Night
Can’t find a good movie to watch on TV? In the office we have a wide variety of movies (Rated G through Rated R). Looking to have family night fun? Step inside our office for a wide selection of board games & puzzles, to Jenga or good old fashioned card games.
OUTDOOR ADVENTURE
Our beautiful outdoor pool is open from late spring through early fall. The adjacent lawn is lovely place to practice yoga, gather with friends for an outdoor party or dinner, or play badminton,soccer,volley ball or other games, also you can enjoy our fire pit with your friends and family by the swimming pool area.
The Pojoaque River bed is one on the Northern border of our 35 acres. Easily accessible by sandy path behind the Parrot House, you can follow the trail we are made for our guests; the river bed is wonderful place to to get some exercise and explore. the river is often only a trickle, so while you may occasionally retur with wet shoes, more than likely you will find miles and miles of dry river bottom and sand to walk through. But you will be enjoy the view. You may also enjoy our beautiful gardens throughout the ranch.
OUR ANIMALS
We have Nubians, San Clemente goats, Shetland sheep, peacocks, auracana, buff orpington, and leghorns, flemish giant rabbits, koi fish, and sicilian burros. All this lovely animals enjoy leafy greens, they will be eat all almost all vegetables including summer squash, egg plant peelings, melon rinds, apples, carrots, and fruit especially grapes. They do not like citrus-lemons, limes, oranges or grapefruit. Food should always be offered on an open palm to avoid fingers getting nipped. Be cautious; as night time approaches wild animals such as, raccoons, skunks, and other creatures are known to roam throughout the ranch. They are not seen every night, but like to make surprise appearances here and there so do not be frightened.
