Or you may have friends or relatives in the area who wish to do so?
We don’t mind a bit, but we do insist on knowing who and when. We’re not on a main road; we can’t be seen from the public road; our property is private, for the use of ourselves and our guests only; cars cannot “drive through” our property, they can only drive in, meanwhile alerting our staff, our guests, their children, their pets and provoking a “who the heck is this” reaction. The sign in the driveway that says “Visitors by appointment only”, means everyone, so phone for an appointment, please.
