Mid Week Off Season and Way Off Season Getaway
Stay Three and Get the 4th Free
Come on Sunday or Monday : pay for three days and we'll add on the 4th day for free - for a Bargain Vacation in Santa Fe.
This is now available through June 14 and any Out of Season Date and is subject to availability.
With so many people able to escape mid week now, we'd like to propose an escape - a week day escape to our oasis in adobe.
This is 25% Discount on top of another 20% discount - our off-season discount.
We do have high speed wireless in the office area and in a large room that we have set aside for our guests' use.
Regrettably we cannot yet provide high speed service to each casita as it has to arrive by radio transmission from a line-of-sight tower in Los Alamos.
Thank you, Rancho Jacona
We are not just a Santa Fe hotel that "allows" family life and reflection - we are family life, we are reflections.
And we are so very much more affordable than a typical santa Fe hotel and so very much "easier".
Here, in our artistic, carefully wrought casitas and landscapes, you can do your own cooking in a full kitchen with everything that you could ever want. Affordability - economy is in your control.
And live - escape - in your own "house" with 35 acres of gardens and towering cottonswoods.
Farm animals, peacocks, fresh morning eggs, art an scuplture - all surround our guests.
With your own pool set in a lawn with sulptures, mobiles.
Right between 3 Pueblos, just 20 minutes from an ancient Pueblo mesa, 2 mountain ranges within 25 minutes, peace and exploration from your
patio and out to thousands of deserted red sandstone cliffs.
Rancho Jacona, a 1700's farm near Santa Fe, has vacation rental accommodations in eleven housekeeping houses, some small, some quite good sized. In other places, these might be called cottages or cabins, but here in Santa Fe a rental house, cabin or cottage is called a casa or casita.
Rancho Jacona's casa and casitas are pueblo-style homes, each with terrace or patio, cheerfully decorated and comfortably furnished, offering from one to four bedrooms, each with king, queen, or two single beds.
These rental vacation houses near Santa Fe in northern New Mexico sleep from 2 to 10 comfortably and there are cribs available for
young ones.
The pets in your family are welcome, too, with dog sheets and towels available.

Rancho Jacona's rental accommodation is near Santa Fe but not in it. Rancho Jacona is a twenty minute drive from either Santa Fe or Los Alamos, in the country, at the end of a long private drive, away from any sound of traffic, away from any sound at all except country sounds: peacocks calling, cocks crowing, rabbits thumping, coyotes howling, and owls hooting.
Nonetheless, Rancho Jacona is near Santa Fe Opera, Tsankawi ruins, Bandelier National Monument, the Rio Grande, San Ildefonso and Santa Clara Pueblos, and the mountains, both the Sangre de Cristos and the Jemez.
Rancho Jacona is a thirty-four acre piece of a l700's land grant farm, an original gift from the king of Spain. The rental houses are either adjacent to the original main house or scattered near gardens and among meadows. Each of our adobe rental homes has its own secluded patio or portal reflecting the sensibility of the gardens, ponds, sculptures and surrounding nature in a verdant oasis of towering cottonwoods, and acequias (irrigation canals) that shelter and water our gardens, our many sheep, goats, burros, rabbits, geese and chickens.
The Santa Fe rental cottages ( casitas ) range in size from a small vacation rental house lodging Santa Fe for 1 to 3 people up to large family reunion rental accommodation for Santa Fe.
Housekeeping realities prevent Rancho Jacona from accepting guests for fewer than three nights at our Santa Fe rental casitas but they are welcome for longer stays in this verdant oasis near Santa Fe and Los Alamos.
Many of the guests say that even a three night stay only gives them time to settle in at Rancho Jacona, with little time left for Santa Fe, the mountains, the pueblos. A five to seven day will give you breathing room and let you really enjoy your stay - plus becoming, at 7 days or more, a Santa Fe bargain vacation rental.
At Rancho Jacona rental houses outside Santa Fe, families find a comfortable world of tame and wild animals, arroyos, sculpture, cliffs, river bottom woods, places to walk, to hike, to mountain bike, to trail run. All this is either out the back door or a short drive away.
There is no sound of traffic. The only cars one hears are the guests', as they return to their casita or leave it for a day's exploration. The rabbits are quiet, the wind sculptures in the meadow are quiet, the mountains are wordless and indescribably lovely. In late summer, there's the sound of rain, of wind in the cottonwoods, of a sudden rush of water down dry washes.
Some guests from cities complain about the strange silence, or the strange sounds: Birds? Animals? Wind? Life is relative and what you hear and relish is what being here is all about: the moon, the stars, the huge old trees, the splash of water, and the blessed quiet.
Rancho Jacona doesn't mind if you bring your pet, thus removing all worries about how that very important member of the family is doing without you.
Our house is yours.
Have a look at our pet friendly Santa Fe accommodation details.
Rancho Jacona serves no food, but the kitchens in the casas and casitas have been attentively supplied with everything needed to prepare even elaborate meals. Guests often say that Jacona kitchens are better equipped than their own.
From two to less than five miles away, we have several local, modest restaurants.
In Santa Fe, there are, of course, internationally renowned and eclectic tiers of Santa Fe dining experiences ranging from modest South Western to the innovative, the cutting edge, and the extravagant cuisines of renowned chefs .
At our adobe rental lodging near Santa Fe and Los Alamos, there is no "nightlife". Just quiet possibilities, the stars, the shadows of the mountains, the calls of the owls, and the barks of the coyotes.
Down the road however, there is the vibrancy of the Santa Fe multi cultural style: music, gallery openings, and festivals. Just down the road, is the exceptional Santa Fe Opera Festival "shed", which is an architectural experience on its own.
When coming to the Santa Fe Opera Festival, Rancho Jacona's rental accommodation and lodging is a valuable resource. Our location north of the Opera means no traffic jams or long parking lines when driving down from Rancho Jacona's opera accommodation.
The new highway into Santa Fe from the north is finished, so the drive is an easy one with access ramps.
No more crossing of on-coming traffic!
The opera productions are so alive, so full of imagination, that even those who aren't into opera will find musical and visual engagement.
Rancho Jacona is a lodging and accommodation resource for opera guests. Rather than contending with the Santa Fe evening rush, you can have a leisurely dinner on the patio under the cottonwoods with the sun coming down to Jemez peaks, the sculpture in the meadow twirling with the breezes, and the adobo chicken on the grill.

Please see the Santa Fe Opera website
for the details you'll need for reserving
opera tickets and then check out our availability for Santa Fe opera lodging accommodation at Santa Fe rental house.
