Details About All The Houses
Rancho Jacona Is Not A Hotel
Rancho Jacona's vacation casitas and casas near Santa Fe are in a quiet and beautiful place offering a home base for vacationers who enjoy both the ambiance of rural Northern New Mexico and the cultural offerings of the Santa Fe area.
Rancho Jacona's vacation rental casitas and casas are fully equipped. You need bring only your groceries and personal needs. Each casita and casa is a pueblo-style adobe home, cheerfully decorated and comfortably furnished, with patio or terrace.
Rancho Jacona does not provide daily maid service.
Jacona guests are provided with very clean, warmly welcoming and comfortable vacation houses casitas in which guests look after themselves. Rancho Jacona doesn't wash the dishes or pick up after the pets or children. Rancho Jacona provides no food except the fresh eggs that are usually available, chickens willing.
If guests are not in the mood to cook or to barbecue on the grill provided at each casita, where better than Santa Fe to grab a simple taco or pause for hours over a gourmet dinner created by Santa Fe chefs' exceptional cuisine.
Air Conditioning and Summer and Winter Temperatures at Santa Fe
Each casita and casa has an air conditioning system for the hottest days of the summer. Most guests never turn them on as adobe houses cool down at night and, if closed during the day, stay cool all day long. Nonetheless, the systems are there, waiting for guests' needs.
In the summer, the temperature is warm and dry - averaging 56º at night and 86º during the day. Shade brings the temperature down and the adobe houses bring it down even further. As Rancho Jacona sits at 5300 ft. elevation, the evenings are almost always cool and frequently downright chilly.
In the winter months, the sun is hard and strong and, while the nights and shoulders of day can be freezing at between 16 and 26 degrees, the mid-day temperature is between 43 and 66 degrees.

Do you want to see Rancho Jacona before making a reservation?
Or you want friends or relatives who live in the area to do so? We don’t mind a bit, but we need to know who and when. We’re not on a main road; w e can’t be seen from the public road; our property is private, for the use of ourselves and our guests only; cars cannot “drive through” our property, they can only drive in, meanwhile alerting our staff, our guests, their children, their pets and provoking a “who the heck is this” reaction. The sign in the driveway that says “Visitors by appointment only”, means everyone, so phone for an appointment, please. T: 1-505-455-7948
